Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt just did something that no Republican politician has had the guts to do in years — he took two Hollywood loudmouths who came after him and absolutely vaporized them with a single sentence about the Epstein files. Drew Carey and Chelsea Handler picked this fight. Pratt ended it.
Funny how quickly celebrities lose their bravado when someone mentions a certain dead pedophile's guest list.
Here's how it went down. Pratt — yes, the reality TV star, now running for mayor of Los Angeles — has been vocal about the city's catastrophic homeless crisis. His take? The homeless people on LA's streets are largely drug addicts, not helpless victims of capitalism. Not exactly a hot take for anyone who's actually walked through downtown LA, but apparently it was enough to trigger Hollywood's finest.
Drew Carey, the former sitcom star and current host of The Price Is Right, went full meltdown. "Fuck this guy already," Carey posted. He followed that up with: "Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass." Real classy, Drew. That's the kind of measured political discourse you'd expect from a guy whose biggest contribution to society is telling people to "come on down."
Chelsea Handler jumped in too, because of course she did. "This is a reminder that a straight, white male, former reality star that has no previous experience in government should not be a legitimate political candidate," Handler said. Straight white male. Former reality star. No government experience. Gee, where have we heard that script before? They literally cannot stop running the same play they ran against Trump.
But here's where things got spicy.
Pratt fired back with a response that belongs in the political comeback hall of fame. "Isn't it weird how the two comedians histrionically lashing out against me are both in the 'Epstein files'?" Pratt wrote. "What are the odds?"
Boom. One sentence. No elaboration needed.
And he's not making it up. Ghislaine Maxwell's emails — you know, the convicted Epstein coconspirator — referenced a dinner involving Drew Carey. Chelsea Handler herself had dinner with Jeffrey Epstein back in 2010. Comedian Shane Gillis had already pointed out Handler's Epstein connection publicly. These aren't conspiracy theories. These are documents.
So let's recap. A guy running for mayor says homeless people in LA are drug addicts. Two celebrities who both show up in the Epstein files lose their minds over it. The mayor candidate points out the Epstein connection. And suddenly nobody has anything else to say.

The question nobody in Hollywood wants to answer is pretty simple: why are these people SO furious at a reality TV star for stating the obvious about homelessness? What nerve did he hit? And why did invoking Epstein's name make them scatter like cockroaches when the kitchen light flips on?
Spencer Pratt might be an unconventional candidate. But any man who can body two A-listers with one sentence about a dead pedophile's client list and leave them both speechless? That's a guy who understands the assignment.
