President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney, Mike Davis, didn’t mince words during a recent interview with Benny Johnson, issuing a bold warning to New York Attorney General Letitia James. After years of what he calls a “lawfare” crusade against Trump, Davis declared it’s time for accountability: “We will put your [expletive] in prison for conspiracy against rights.” For Democrats like James who’ve turned law into a weapon against political opponents, it looks like the gloves are finally coming off.
First listen to this profanity language
Now imagine a conservative would've said this and Obama is President

Since her election as New York’s AG in 2018, James has gone out of her way to target Trump, vowing to “hold him accountable” long before any charges. From cursing him out in post-election videos to leading the state’s legal charge against his business, James’s vendetta was always front and center. Recently, it culminated in a massive $355 million judgment after a non-jury trial overseen by Judge Arthur Engoron, who also banned Trump from holding office in New York companies for three years. Even with the judgment surpassing $464 million with interest, this wasn’t enough for James, who initially sought $370 million without a single so-called “victim” presenting themselves.
In September, appellate judges seemed openly skeptical, questioning whether New York had ever launched a case like this against private business dealings without a clear victim. Kevin O’Leary, the well-known investor, put it bluntly, saying that what Trump was accused of is standard practice in real estate—a world where valuations are subjective and part of daily operations.
But James, unwilling to let Trump’s election victory change her tune, vowed to press on, promising her “guardians of the law” are ready to “fight back.” In a press conference, she doubled down, saying, “This is not the time to be fearful, New York… We are prepared to fight back.”
In contrast, Davis had a warning for James and her crew. “Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York attorney general. I dare you. I dare you to continue your warfare against President Trump in his second term… we will put your [expletive] in prison for conspiracy against rights,” he stated emphatically, adding, “Think long and hard before you want to violate President Trump’s constitutional rights or any other American’s constitutional rights. It’s not going to happen again.”
With Trump’s second term on the horizon, Davis’s message couldn’t be clearer: this time, there will be consequences for using the law as a political weapon. It’s a stark reminder to those who think they can sidestep the Constitution to go after their opponents. America stands on the brink of a new era, and it’s high time the rule of law took precedence over political agendas.
