Joe Biden has created a humanitarian crisis on the southern border that Former President Donald Trump cannot bear to witness any longer.
Speaking with Judge Jeanine Pirro on Sunday, Trump vowed to visit the border himself to inspect the mess left in the wake of his presidency. Without his Remain-in-Mexico policy, his policy to return unaccompanied minors, and the pandemic border policies he put in place, our southern border has become an unimaginable disaster that the Biden administration is taking far too lightly.
During his interview with Pirro, Trump revealed that many Border Patrol and ICE agents are urging him to visit the border.
“Well, there’s a lot of high-ranking people that want me visit,” Trump said.
“They want me there. They asked me to go. The Border Patrol and all of the people at ICE sort of fell I owe it to them. They’re the greatest people.”
“As we speak there are thousands and thousands of people trying to cross our border,” he added.
“I don’t know what they’re doing. They’re going to destroy our country. Before Biden is finished, there will be millions in the country illegally. It’s an incredibly dangerous situation.”
“It’s someone else’s job to deal with this. I would love not to be involved, but something has to be done.”
We can expect a border visit from Trump in “the next couple of weeks,” but he’s in no rush. The Former President is attempting to prolong his border trip until Biden and Kamala make theirs, but they’ve yet to set a date.
Trump remembers his relationship with Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador fondly, saying he helped the U.S. achieve a more secure border during the Trump administration. Trump applauds the Obrador’s recent criticism of the Biden administration.
