‘Dumb Son of a B—–‘
Former President Donald Trump threw his script out the window during a RNC donor event at his south Florida resort Mar-a-Lago. The silver tongued Trump reportedly referred to Senate Minority Mitch McConnell as a “son of a b—–” during his speech. .
Trump lamented the ease in which McConnell laid down for Democrats during the certification of the 2020 election results. According to the Former President, if Sen. Schumer were in that position, the Democrats would have gotten their way.
“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a b—-, Mitch McConnell, they would never allow it to happen.”
“They would have fought it,” Trump added.
Elaine Chao, his former Transportation Sec. and wife of McConnell, took a hit as well. Chao resigned after the Capitol protests of Jan. 6. Trump claimed he never even received a “thank you” from Chao after her promotion.
Trump reiterated his commitment to electing more Republicans in 2022 in the hopes of stripping away majorities from House and Senate Democrats.
Peering at his script, the Former President said, “I stand before you this evening filled with confidence that in 2022, we are going to take back the House and we are going to reclaim the Senate.”
He revealed any announcements of his run for public office will likely come after the 2022 midterms.
‘Disappointed’ in Pence
Trump reportedly strayed away from his prepared remarks while discussing the former Vice President as well, relaying his “disappointment” in Pence. Ultimately, Trump hoped his former right-hand was willing to fight for a fair election, but instead Pence instantly folded when it was time to certify the Electoral College results.
Feelings aren’t all negative, though, as Trump revealed, “I really like Pence, but I was disappointed.”
“I wish that Mike Pence had the courage to send it back to the legislatures.”
Neither McConnell or Pence were in attendance that night.
Fauci ‘full of crap’
The Former President lauded his response to the coronavirus last year, incessantly mocking Dr. Fauci in the process. Trump recalled Fauci’s initial insistence that Americans not wear masks, joking the Dr. now wants us to wear “at least five.”
“Have you ever seen anybody that is so full of crap?” he asked of Fauci
Trump even claimed the outstanding success of Operation Warp Speed should warrant a re-brand of the vaccines, calling them “Trumpcine” instead.
He also praised the leading GOP governors, namely Kristi Noem of South Dakota and Ron DeSantis of Florida, for reopening their economies and freeing their residents of lockdown tyranny.
