Trump Team Issues New Angry Statement About Unfair Debate

A statement from Trump’s team said that the debate between him and Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday was a clear win for him.

A campaign worker named Stephen Cheung wrote on X that “President Trump DOMINATES the 3 on 1 fight.”

Fox News reports that Trump said after the debate, “We had three against one.” He was talking about the part that David Muir and Linsey Davis played as judges on ABC during the debate.

Cheung shared a statement from campaign chairs Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles that said, “President Trump gave a masterful performance in the debate tonight, charging Kamala Harris’ terrible track record of failure that has hurt Americans for the last four years.”

“This was President Trump’s bold vision for America. He promised to build on the wins of his first term by boosting the economy, protecting the border, and stopping crime from destroying neighborhoods across the country,” the statement said.

It also said that Harris showed people that if she wins, nothing will get better.

“On the other hand, Kamala’s picture of America was a dark warning of Joe Biden’s big-government, oppressive policies that she wants to keep in place. Kamala stands for high prices, a porous border that lets thieves and terrorists flood across, and being soft on crime.”

“In the end, it was very clear that Trump would be the best choice. He won tonight and will continue to do so when he takes office,” the statement said.

On social media, people were very critical of ABC’s part in the discussion.

“These judges are a shame, and this is one of the most unfair and biased conversations I’ve ever seen.” Megyn Kelly wrote on X, “Shame on you @ABC.”

“It’s not ‘checking the facts,’ it’s attacking,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, wrote on X.

“As I thought it would be, it was a rigged deal,” Trump said Wednesday, according to the New York Post. “They were fixing everything but her.”

He said of the referees, “It was a three-on-one—that’s OK, I’ve had worse chances before, but never so clear.”

“They’re lying. I believe ABC had a bad night…” Trump said, “They should lose their license for the way they did that.”
