The North Carolina Republican Party’s annual State convention will be attended by perhaps the most ‘VIP’ partygoer around – Former President Donald Trump!
The Convention is scheduled for June 4-6 and will occur at the Greenville Convention Center. This will only be Trump’s second appearance since the leaving the White House.

The event is set to feature other key Republican speakers, such as Gov. Kristi Noem, Reps. Dan Bishop, Ted Budd, and Madison Cawthorn (the youngest member of Congress.)
Trump made his triumphant return after exiting the White House when he delivered a stunning speech on February 28 at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC.) In a straw poll taken after the event, over seven out of 10 CPAC participants hoped for another Trump White House bid – indicating they wanted to vote for him again in 2024.
America-First Republicanism has been on a major winning streak lately. The announcement of Trump’s appearance comes after House GOP ousted RINO Rep. Liz Cheney from her role in party leadership.
Leading up to Cheney’s remove, Trump released a statement in support of the measure, calling the Wyoming Republican a “warmonger whose family stupidly pushed up into the never-ending Middle East Disaster.”

With Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda seeing such gains within the Republican party, there’s no telling how successful the 2022 midterms can be.
