Trump Makes Bombshell Announcement About His Social Media Network

Plenty has been debated about Donald Trump’s return to social media after major companies banned him off their platforms. Several alternative social networks have reached out to him, but Trump had long vowed to create his own. Critics laughed it off as an empty boast, even when he revealed earlier this year the name of his network, TRUTH Social.

Still, anti-Trumper dismissed the project, calling it a publicity stunt. There was no way this former president, a billionaire with business connections across the globe could build his own social media site, right? And even if he did, who would bother to use it? Not his tens of millions of supporters and fans, both in the U.S. and around the world.

Well, Democrats are probably fuming right about now, as reports indicate Trump’s social network has already raised nearly $1 billion in funding.

Former President Donald Trump’s social media start-up announced Saturday about $1 billion dollars have been raised for the platform by investors, according to the company’s website, tmtgcorp.com…

“$1 billion sends an important message to Big Tech that censorship and political discrimination must end,” Trump wrote…

TMTG merged with Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC) to go public in October, valued at $875 million. By mid-November, the company was valued at $10 billion, according to Forbes. [Source: Just the News]

Before it has even been launched, Trump’s social media company has generated nearly $1 billion from investors. At one point, the company was valued at $10 billion, now it currently sits at $4 billion. That number is expected to rise when the app is launched in February of next year. Rarely have we seen a tech startup score this much attention and support before the product is available.

This should have everyone in Silicon Valley sitting up and paying attention. Normally, billions of dollars flow into the mainstream tech world on a daily basis. But clearly, some investors are breaking away from the pack to support this outsider company. Trump has made it clear this company’s goal is to disrupt the monopoly far-left Silicon Valley has over our technology.

He specifically wanted to create a social network free from censorship and “cancel culture.” The goal of TRUTH Social is to provide a space where anyone can express their views, without the worry that the leftists who control much of our online world will shut them down.

It’s no secret that since 2016, major social media sites have gone after conservatives. They have established policies where Trump supporters, Republicans, or anyone right of center can be shadowbanned, silenced, or kicked off their networks. Millions of Americans have abandoned mainstream social media sites because they are no longer welcome there.

When TRUTH Social is launched next year, expect major waves to be made in the social media landscape. Even more users could dump Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube for Trump’s app. And, of course, there is the obvious fact that this will give Trump his own, unfiltered platform. He can post whatever he pleases, to potentially millions of users.

What a perfect tool to have… if you plan on running for president.
