Just over a month remains until the first debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, and Biden has insisted that there be no live audience, timed microphones, and only pro-Biden media and moderators. However, Trump now has a personal ailment.
On Friday night, at the Minnesota GOP Party’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner, Trump declared, “I am going to demand a drug test too.” “I truly am, I really am.” He was as high as a kite during the state of the union.”
The idea that Joe Biden used drugs during his State of the Union speech has been around for a while.
Biden’s heightened speed and loudness during the speech, in contrast to his typically sluggish and stumbling attitude, might be a sign of stimulant usage, possibly Adderall or another amphetamine, according to Dr. Carole Lieberman, a forensic psychiatrist who specializes in senior dementia patients.
“[Adderall] helps people focus, so if you give it to someone who is not focused ahead of a big occasion like the State of the Union, it will increase their focus,” Lieberman stated to the Washington Times. “But it is harmful since it is addictive and just treats the symptoms rather than improving brain function.”
“He was unable to make up for his errors. In a nonsensical statement, he brought up Moscow. He was making an attempt to repair it, but it was obvious that he was unable to do so. “He was unable to utter the right word,” Dr. Lieberman said. “Anyone could stumble over Laken Riley’s name, but he was clueless about how to fix it.” He would be able to address her appropriately if he understood enough about her to be able to speak about her.
In addition, the report cited 2022 research that “found drugs that treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, such as Adderall, can typically enhance cognitive function in Alzheimer’s patients” in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry.
Democrats were eager to tout Biden’s “fiery” performance as evidence that he truly had the power and vitality for the job, given years of polls showing the public no longer believes Biden is mentally or physically capable of managing the president.
Biden’s string of disastrous public appearances following the speech lends credence to Lieberman’s opinion that he was probably under influence when he gave the State of the Union speech. The following day, at a campaign speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Biden’s typical stumbles and blank expressions—basically a rehashed version of his State of the Union address—were on full display. He once declared, “Pennsylvania, I have a message for you: send me to Congress!” with audacity. Even while talking about the Capitol riot, which is his pet issue, Biden stumbled miserably, mispronouncing the date as “July the 6th.”
And so forth.
Therefore, despite the unquestionable justification for Trump’s request, the Biden team is unlikely to approve it.
