Democrats in Arizona are fighting a forthcoming audit of the 2020 presidential election results. The audit comes as state Republicans raised major questions about the handling of some ballots, namely the influx of mail-in-ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic. Former President Donald Trump is not staying quiet on this issue, releasing one of his now-famous press releases. In it, Trump says plainly the Democrat hesitation to the audit proves they used an “unconstitutional” election process. Additionally, he says, it proves that the Democrats “have gone absolutely insane.”

Trump questioned the Democrats’ motive for denying an audit of the 2020 election results, stressing the benefits of transparency in a democratic system.
“The audit is independently run, with no advantage to either side, but the Democrats don’t want to hear anything about it because they know that they lost Arizona, and other scam election States, in a landslide.”
The Republican-led Arizona state Senate used its subpoena power to take seize not only all 2.1 million ballots in Maricopa county, but the machines that counted them and the hard drives as well.
Trump predicted a full audit of Arizona’s election results would result in massive fraud and subsequently, massive cover up from the Democrats. He believes similar results would be had in other states he “lost.”
“Thank you State Senators and others in Arizona for commencing this full forensic audit,” Trump’s Friday statement read. “I predict the results will be startling!”
