Tax-Loving Bernie Sanders Explodes at Fox News Live on Air

Known socialist and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was interviewed for a town hall on Fox News. During the confrontational event, he was asked about his tax returns—and how he accepted tax breaks he claims he is against. He tried to dodge the question again and again. But when the hosts pressed him, Uncle Bernie had a meltdown.

Like most of the elite in D.C., Bernie Sanders doesn’t think the rules apply to him. For years, he’s tried to win over regular Americans by attacking the “richest one percent” of our population. Like a good socialist, he claims that the rich need to pay more in taxes, so that money can be spent on welfare programs.

What he rarely likes to mention is that he is in fact, one of the richest people in America. Being a career politician for over forty years has definitely paid off for the millionaire. He owns numerous houses and earns hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. How can he do that on a senator’s salary? You tell me.

In a desperate attempt to show up Donald Trump, he recently released his tax returns. What we discovered is that Bernie Sanders enjoys tax breaks that most rich do, meaning he pays far less in taxes than the average American. Those tax breaks, by the way, are the very same he has voted against in the past. Why wouldn’t he reject those breaks, if he’s so against them? That’s a good question.

The Fox News hosts pressed him over this issue during a town hall event. The radically leftist senator tried to dodge the question, even becoming argumentative with the hosts. That’s when he blew his lid.

Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders exploded on Monday when asked during a Fox News town hall about accepting tax breaks that he voted against and why he did not send the money back given the fact that he constantly is claiming that the wealthy need to pay more in taxes.

Fox News host Bret Baier first pressed Sanders on the issue, to which Sanders responded: “Pfft…come on…I am, I paid the taxes that I owe…why don’t you get Donald Trump up here and ask him how much he pays in taxes.”

A few moments later, Fox News host Martha MacCallum pressed Sanders again on the issue, asking: “So would you be willing to pay 52% on the money that you made? You can volunteer, you can send it back.”

“You can volunteer too,” Sanders responded. “Martha, why don’t you give? You make more money than I do.”

“I didn’t suggest a wealth tax,” MacCallum replied.

“And she’s not running for president,” Baier added. [Source: Fox News]

Hey Uncle Bernie! Maybe you should stick with those CNN town halls. They won’t ask you hard questions that force you to answer honestly.

This is pretty telling. Bernie Sanders’ biggest agenda goal is to make the rich pay more in taxes so that the federal government could waste—I mean spend—money on things like universal healthcare and free college tuition.

He’s essentially trying to bribe the middle and working classes for their vote. Yet he, one of the richest men in America, has enjoyed tax breaks that most rich enjoy. When asked why he simple refused to use those breaks and pay more in taxes, he exploded in anger.

He couldn’t even give them a fair answer. In fact, he lashed out and accused the reporters of not giving money back. They had a brilliant reply: they’re not trying to tax the rich, nor are they running for president.

Sanders tried to flip the question, the same way a child tries to wiggle out of getting in trouble with mom. He didn’t have a straight answer.

All we can assume is that he, like the rest of the D.C. swamp, is a hypocrite. He wants others to carry the burden, while he gets rich.

The ugly secret is, if he was elected president and passed all his terrible social programs, the rich would never pay more. The burden would fall to you and me, hard-working middle-class Americans who struggle to get by.

Hmm… who just passed a law that slashed taxes for middle and working-class Americans? Oh, that wasn’t Bernie Sanders. Yeah, that was Donald Trump.
