For years, we’ve had to listen to the liberal media crow on and on about Russian collusion. They pointed to various probes, started by Obama’s FBI, aimed at President Trump. We all learned that this was just a hoax, crafted by Democrats in the deep state to take down the new president. But now, finally, Senate Republicans are demanding answers.
The scheme to take down Trump started long before he was elected. FBI and DOJ officials used Hillary Clinton’s bogus dossier as an excuse to “investigate” Trump’s campaign. After he was elected, they continued to build a trap against him and his staff. There was no proof Trump colluded with Russia, so Obama’s deep state was trying to craft convincing “evidence,” so Democrats could impeach.
It failed, as we know. But it left Americans outraged. How can we sit back and let these officials get away with attacking our democracy? New evidence emerged over the last few weeks proving Obama officials specifically tried to set up Carter Page and Michael Flynn. What else were they doing to violate our laws and take down a lawfully-elected president?
That’s just what the Senate wants to know. Now, Lindsey Graham has announced his long-awaited investigation.
After weeks of bombshell revelations highlighting apparent FBI misconduct in the cases of former Trump aide Carter Page and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, the Republican-controlled Senate on Monday took two major steps toward launching its own comprehensive probe into the matter — even as the Justice Department’s separate criminal investigation, led by U.S. Attorney John Durham, continues.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., specifically announced Monday that his panel will soon vote on a subpoena authorization related to the FBI’s apparent surveillance abuses…
Also Monday, Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., requested that the Justice Department turn over an unredacted copy of the email that former National Security Adviser Susan Rice sent to herself on Inauguration Day — a document that could shed light on the secretive January 5, 2017 White House meeting in which then-President Obama shocked a top DOJ official with his knowledge of the FBI’s Flynn probe. Some big stuff is brewing. Graham’s subpoena addresses a whopping 53 figures from the Obama administration. He wants documents, communications, and testimony from some familiar names. Loretta Lynch, John Podesta, Susan Rice, Peter Strzok, Christopher Wray, and many more. These people were all working in the FBI or DOJ during Obama’s administration. And they all appear to have had a hand in the scheme to push the Russian hoax.
Graham’s subpoena officially begins his committee’s probe into how the Obama administration conducted this far-reaching probe. He also acknowledged that, while this is going on, the DOJ is continuing its criminal investigation into the origins of the Russian probe. So, why is Graham doing this? Because his investigation might have bigger implications than the DOJ’s. What he uncovers will probably reach the public very quickly. It will provide answers to many questions Americans have been asking for years.
It will put pressure on those figures responsible for the Russian hoax, expose the media’s lies, and even empower the current DOJ to press charges where needed.
Sen. Ron Johnson is staring his own probe, seeking documents from former National Security Adviser Susan Rice. We know Rice was behind some of the unmasking that exposed Trump staffers. Johnson is now looking information that could put Obama himself in hot water.
All this is happening as the media scrambles to play interference for the Democrats. Sure, they have spent most of their time in recent weeks hyping up the virus. But they won’t be able to ignore this tsunami as it breaks. But if real evidence comes out that Democrats broke the law to undermine Trump’s administration, even the liars on CNN will be unable to spin it.
Don’t think this won’t have major implications, come November.
