Sen. Cruz Reveals How Iran Got Money for Missile Strike–Thanks, Obama

Last night, Iran launched a missile attack on two Iraqi bases housing American military. It was the rogue nation’s attempt to escalate tensions, after their murderous general was killed by the U.S. While the pathetic attack appears to have missed American forces, Ted Cruz called out who is really responsible. And who helped Iran develop these weapons.

It’s interesting to watch Democrats respond to this unfolding situation with Iran. We know most liberals are wimps who cower at the sight of real, strong leadership. But you’d think they would at least back our president over a murderous, terrorist-supporting regime like Iran.

But no, they aren’t. Democrats have blamed and attacked Trump over his actions against Iran. We know that Iran staged a violent protest outside our embassy in Iraq. Protestors set up camps and planned to be their a long while. The situation was described as a siege. Protestors set fire to the building. There was a real threat that American citizens would be harmed.

Can you believe the press was calling this “Trump’s Benghazi”? They were actually hoping this situation would spiral out of control, leading to a loss of American lives. All so they could blame Trump, hoping it would hurt his administration.

What words do you have to describe that kind of evil?

When Trump responded and killed General Soleimani, the media and Democrats were livid. Suddenly a man that was responsible for countless deaths was an innocent victim. The media spread lies about World War III. Liberals actually stuck up for Iran, while trashing our president.

But who’s really to blame for Iran’s military capabilities—including the missiles they used to strike Iraq? Ted Cruz rips the blinders off the media’s eyes to reveal: this is all thanks to President Obama.

Tuesday during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-AZ) discussed the surface-to-surface missile attack by Iran on a U.S. military base in Iraq…

The Texas Republican went on to suggest those missiles that struck the U.S. base were financed by money delivered to Iran as a result of the nuclear deal brokered during the previous Obama administration.

“If you look at Iran policy, I think you’ve seen a dramatic shift,” he said. “Under Barack Obama, as you noted, the policy was appeasement. The policy under the disastrous Iran nuclear deal under Obama was to give over $100 billion to Iran. They literally flew $1.7 billion in cash, in unmarked bills on pallettes in the dead of night into Iran. In a very real sense, the missiles that we saw fired on U.S. servicemen and women tonight were paid for by the billions the Obama administration flooded the Ayatollah with. If history teaches anything, it’s don’t give billions of dollars to people who hate you and want to kill you.” [Source: Breitbart]

Iran was well under control, before Barack Obama entered office. As part of his many, terrible decisions as president, he bent over backward for Iran. Not only did he agree to a terrible deal, he sent them $2 billion in cash.

Gee, where did all that money go? You’re looking at it, in the form of missiles aimed at U.S. targets.

Why in the world would an American president send cash to our enemies? Was it because Obama really believed appeasing Iran was the right choice? Was Obama really that dumb?

Or are the conspiracy theorists right—was Obama actually trying to help Iran and hurt the United States?

I don’t know for sure. But the facts are obvious: Iran was empowered and emboldened, thanks to Barack Obama. Only now, with Trump in the White House, is Iran being held in check once again. Their attack on our military is proof Iran is unraveling. They say they don’t want to escalate, while firing missiles at us.

A group like this cannot be reasoned with or appeased. They must be defeated at all costs.

President Trump knows this full well. He’s not about to let Iran get away with more violence or aggression. The rogue nation is going to regret picking a fight with us.
