Nancy Pelosi may be delaying the impeachment trial, but it will reach the Senate eventually. Finally, Donald Trump will get a fair trial. He and his legal counsel will have a chance to present evidence and take the stand. One of Trump’s allies, Rudy Giuliani, spoke about what he’d do during the trial. His statement will have Democrats very nervous.
Plenty has happened since the House Democrats announced their intentions of impeaching Trump. It’s kind of hard to keep track of it all, especially with the fake news media distorting every detail.
But here’s the rundown. For many years, Democrats have accused Trump of colluding with foreign powers to steal our elections. Originally, they pushed a narrative that Trump worked with Russia to win the 2016 Election. They were building a case so that they could eventually remove him from office.
The problem was, Robert Mueller cleared Trump of that crime. His probe revealed no American worked with Russia to undermine our election.
So, the Democrats had to switch tactics. A so-called whistleblower claimed President Trump pressured Ukraine to find dirt on Joe Biden. It was the same lie, just with new packaging. The Democrats quickly rushed an impeachment inquiry over this unsubstantiated claim. After just a few months—and no evidence—they voted to impeach him. Every last Democrat who supported impeachment was repeating the same tired lie that Trump colluded with a foreign power.
Even though he was already cleared of that charge.
That’s because Democrats invented this scheme and couldn’t deviate from it. They were trapped in their own lies, but had no choice but to follow through with them.
Now, the case is on its way to the Senate. Pelosi has delayed sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate, but it will get there sooner or later. That means the Republican-controlled Senate will actually follow the law and hold a trial. Trump will be able to defend himself—something the Democrats did not want.
Here’s something else that should make them afraid: Rudy Giuliani’s involvement. Trump’s personal attorney (former New York mayor and attorney general) has been investigating this issue for a long time. He’s even traveled to Ukraine to uncover what really went on. And now, he’s saying what he’d do doing the Senate trial.
While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said he is willing to testify in the Senate’s impeachment trial.
Giuliani said, “I would testify. I would do demonstrations. I’d give summations. Or I’d do what I do best, I’d try the case. I’d love to try the case.” [Source: Breitbart]
Rudy traveled to Ukraine to investigate the real source of corruption. When he returned, he told the president he had found quite a bit. He has talked about several times, in interviews and online, a long chain of corruption and money laundering between Ukraine and… wait for it… the Obama administration.
Joe Biden has his son making huge sums of money from a Ukraine business. He pressured the government to fire a man investigating that company. That’s only the start of the corruption. Giuliani says Obama officials were laundering money from Ukraine, through other countries, in an elaborate scheme.
Rudy’s uncovered it all. And he wants to take the stand and reveal this evidence to the world. In fact, he said he wants to try the case—giving him the opportunity to call witnesses and present every last bit of evidence to the Senate.
What he has ready to reveal would rock the Democratic Party as we know it. What he claims to have discovered is nothing short of revolutionary. It would not only clear Trump’s name, but lead to immediate indictments of major government officials—perhaps even sitting elected politicians.
This is the real reason Democrats are trying so hard to take out Trump. They know they’ve been caught in their own schemes. And they’re trying desperately to hide it.
But they didn’t count on Trump’s man Rudy to expose it all. And he soon will.
