An anonymous group released pigeons with tiny “Make America Great Again” hats glued on their heads just ahead of a visit by President Donald Trump to Las Vegas, Nevada.

And one pigeon had a blonde wig affixed on his head.

The group calls itself by the acronym PUTIN, which stands for “Pigeons, United to Interfere Now,” and may give a hint of their political motivations. They said they are an “underground radical group.”

The group told the Las Vegas Review Journal that the pigeon prank was an “aerial protest piece in response to the arrival of the 2020 Democratic debate,” which is also being held in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

“The release date was also coordinated to serve as a gesture of support and loyalty to President Trump,” said Coo Hand Luke, a member of the group.

They said that they used eyelash glue for the hats and rejected suggestions from some who said they were guilty of cruelty to animals.

“It’s what women use to put around their eyes for eyelash extensions. The hats usually stay on for a day or two, depending on the bird’s movements,” said Luke.

“We can also remove them ourselves as they fly back to the coop. They could be gone for a day, two days or a week, but they always come back,” he explained.
