The Internet exploded when MMA fighter and former Special Forces Operator Tim Kennedy proposed a debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The debate would be four hours long, with no audience. And it would be moderated by comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan. To the utter amazement of millions, Donald Trump said he’d do it.
We are certainly living in interesting times. Not only has a famous billionaire real estate mogul become the greatest president in living memory, but we are witnessing the meltdown of a major U.S. political party. The Democrats are sabotaging their own chances by embracing radical policies like defunding the police. At a time when a record number of Americans bought guns for the first time, Joe Biden calls for more gun control.
The Democrats fear what Joe Biden might say or do if left to his own devices. That’s why they’ve limited his appearances and use teleprompters for basic questions. Some leftists don’t even want him to debate Trump, claiming Trump will just lie.
But the Trump campaign has wanted more debates. And when Tim Kennedy suggested a debate moderated by Joe Rogan, Trump jumped at the chance.
President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed the idea of a four-hour presidential debate moderated by podcaster Joe Rogan.
The president shared an idea from UFC fighter and special forces operator Tim Kennedy, who spoke about it in an interview with Rogan.
“On my podcast with @joerogan he offered to moderate a debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump,” Kennedy wrote on Twitter. “It would be four hours with no live audience. Just the two candidates, cameras, and their vision of how to move this country forward. Who wants this?”
“I do!” Trump wrote, sharing the idea with his followers. [Source: Breitbart]
Joe Rogan, if you don’t already know, is a well-known comedian and podcast host. His show, The Joe Rogan Experience, is the largest podcast—with an audience in the tens of millions. Although an open liberal, he has frequently criticized Joe Biden, saying the candidate is most likely to lose.
(Rogan also recently left Los Angeles and moved to Austin, TX.)
Rogan is known for having people from all walks of life appear on his show, including noted conservative and liberal figures. He is respected for his open mind and willingness to talk with almost anybody.
If Joe Rogan was to host a debate between Trump and Biden, expect tens of millions—maybe more—to be watching. It would be a historic and unforgettable event.
Of course, Joe Biden would never agree to it.
(Which is probably why Trump did.)
It’s uncertain how Joe Biden will perform at the already scheduled presidential debates. The man needs a script to answer basic questions. He never takes questions from the media. Even when in heavily-controlled appearances, he often makes shocking gaffes, loses his temper, or insults millions of black Americans.
But if Biden refuses to acknowledge the invitation, does that mean a Rogan-Trump interaction is off the table? What if Joe Rogan has Trump on his podcast or hosts a debate with just the president? Such a move would be groundbreaking and put Biden is a very difficult position.
If Trump does an interview with Rogan, people will ask, “Why didn’t Biden do one?” It might force the candidate to come out of hiding and actually do a real interview.
(Rogan has interviewed other presidential candidates, including Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie Sanders.)
We shouldn’t get our hopes up, though. Biden’s campaign has been desperately trying to control the situation. They limit real events, hoping that the MSM’s polls will influence voters.
The idea of actually seeing the candidate? That’s nonsense!
