Obama Allies Seek to Top Trump’s Strategy — There’s Just One Problem


A far-left group associated with Barack Obama is trying to raise money to beat Donald Trump in 2020. They have about 40% of their project $75 million. They need this money to take down Trump with an aggressive online ad campaign. But there’s one big problem, one they will probably never overcome.

The Democrats have been working overtime to take down Donald Trump. It started way back when he first announced his campaign for president. Liberals in the media and government have conspired to undermine any success he could get.

Every time, they’ve lost.

These days, House Democrats are consorting over a bogus impeachment push that we know will go nowhere. The liberal media is doing its part to slander and malign Trump with every piece of fake news imaginable. But no matter what, it never seems to be enough.

Considering the clowns they have running for president, Democrats must be pretty worried.

So a group known as “Acronym” is trying to take the fight to Trump—with an online ad campaign. They want to spend $75 million to get a jump on the president with ads on Facebook, Google, and other websites.

The problem? They’re already way behind Trump’s own online advertising. Big time.

“The effort, by a nonprofit group called Acronym and an affiliated political action committee, is an outgrowth of growing concern by some Democratic officials that Mr. Trump could build an insurmountable edge in those key states through massive early advertising efforts…”

Tara McGowan, the founder and chief executive of Acronym, said that the group has already raised 40% of the stated goal but that $75 million may not be enough to overcome Trump in key early battleground states.

“Trump has upped the ante by spending more than any candidate this early in a general election campaign,” she said, according to The Times, adding, “and right now our side is simply not on the field.” [Source: Daily Wire]

By all accounts, Trump dominates social media. Not only that, but his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, has been raising serious sums of cash since early 2019. Events like the Mueller Report and the whistleblower impeachment scheme have only increased the amount of supporter Americans are giving.

Trump has a war chest of over a hundred million dollars. And his campaign is using every last penny to win 2020.

“In 2016, we had 700,000 volunteers help us,” Parscale said. “In 2020, we’re gonna have 1.6 million volunteers. I had 3,000 team leaders across the United States. This time we’ll have 90,000 team leaders.” [Source: Daily Wire]

If I was a Democrat, I’d be worried. We are a long time away from the left picking a candidate and already they’re behind. Acronym already admitted that, by the time their candidate is picked, they’ll be nearly out of the game.

“Our nominee is going to be broke, tired, have to pull together the party and turn around on a dime and run a completely different race for a completely different audience,” Plouffe continued. “There is an enormous amount of danger between now and then,” he added. “If the hole is too steep to dig out of, they’re not going to win.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Wow. That’s pretty defeatist talk, if I’ve ever heard any. And this is a group that’s trying to get a Democrat elected!

As Democrats fight each other over the nomination, Trump continues to build support and reach Americans. Even when Twitter banned political ads, Trump posted them to his account for free—generating millions of views.

Even when he’s not spending money on ads, people are watching them!

Just think of it: Democrats have been waging a war against Trump on all fronts. The media. The government. The Internet. They’ve used dirty tactics and lies to damage his reputation and administration.

Yet he’s still winning.

Something tells me Acronym is going to need more than $75 million. Much more.
