New York Times Writer Blasts Joe’s 2024 Plans

Joe Biden maintains that he’s all-in for 2024. This, despite historically bad approval numbers and a presidency that’s accomplished nothing. But we think we know why he has to say he’s running in 2024.

The midterms are make-or-break for the rest of the party. They need to provide a united front if they are to convince voters to support them. But if Joe said he was bowing out after one term, he would become a lame duck even before the elections. He has to say he’s running again, or the few voters willing to vote for the left will stay home.

But a New York Times writer is blowing the lid off this open secret.

New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin seemed highly skeptical President Biden will run for reelection in 2024 despite multiple assurances that he will seek a second term…

Martin expressed his amazement at how “it’s not clear” whether the incumbent president will pursue another four-year term…

“A lot of Democrats don’t believe that [he’ll run]. They’re convinced he’s not gonna run.

“Based on what?” Navarro pushed back.

“Based on the fact that he’ll be 82 years old in 2024 and that they’re just skeptical that he’s gonna serve a full second term or if he wants her a full second term, which raises the question of, ‘Well, if not Biden, who?’ And that’s what shapes the Kamala Harris news here.” [Source: Fox News]

Let’s face the facts. Joe Biden will be 82 in 2024. And he’s barely holding it together as it is. Does anyone think he’ll have a chance at running a real campaign (without COVID to hide behind) and win?

But Democrats need Biden to make it look like he’s running. And, in reality, they don’t have many more options. Biden is sure to lose, given his terrible approval. That leaves Democrats with zero options. Who can they look to as a replacement? Kamala Harris?

The woman who is hated by her own staff, who call her a toxic bully?

Without Biden, the party is leaderless. That’s pretty pathetic, considering Biden is suffering from dementia. They refuse to admit, publicly, that he won’t run. But according to Martin, behind closed doors, they know he’s done for.

We can’t predict how the next two years will go. But we can be all but certain Biden’s condition will get worse. All the handling in the world won’t turn back the clock. And as Biden continues to decline, Democrats will be left with fewer and fewer options.

Leaving Republicans with a chance to dominate.
