As Barack Obama was leaving office, the one thing he admitted he failed to do was push for stricter gun control. But that’s okay, because Obama administration, term 3 is well underway as Puppet Joe does whatever the left-wing tells him to do.
Among the man bad ideas his administration is pushing, Joe recently announced his massive gun control plans. What he intends is nothing short of the destruction of our Second Amendment rights. Biden wants to force all gun buyers to be subjected to a “universal background check” which would amount to being put on a federal registry.
He wants to ban “assault weapons,” a non-technical term which could include semi-automatic firearms. The plan would ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, a proposal every gun owner knows is ridiculous. But worst of all, he wants gunmakers to be legally vulnerable, if someone else commits a crime with their guns. That’s like suing a carmaker because someone ran a red light.
But as Biden pushes his radical agenda, one state joined the ranks of those freeing up our Second Amendment.
Montana became the 18th state to end its concealed carry permit requirement when Gov. Greg Gianforte (R) signed House Bill 102 on Thursday.
The NRA-ILA reported that Gianforte signed HB102, which means Montanans can “carry a firearm for self-defense throughout the state without a government-mandated permit.”

As Biden is trying to find ways to make it harder for you to own a firearm, Montana just made it easier. They removed a requirement for locals to have a permit in order to conceal carry a gun. This means that anyone with a firearm can carry it for self-defense—even in formerly “gun-free zones.”
Other states that have done this are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
This is a sign that, should Biden be successful in pushing some of his restrictions, states will fight back. Texas has vowed to become a “Second Amendment sanctuary” if Biden passed harsh gun laws. These other states are showing that they will fight to protect Americans’ Second Amendment rights, even if the federal government refuses.
With the slim majority Democrats have in Congress, they will do their best to ram gun control through the system. They might get held up in the Senate, but they will do everything in their power to make this a reality. They know that anything can happen in 2022, so they want to pass as much legislation—with as many restrictions as possible—now. That way, even if Republicans retake Congress, they will have a tough time undoing the mess they’ve made.
The only real way Americans can keep their gun rights, is if their state leaders step up and fight.
