A new study showed that President Donald Trump was targeted more in political jokes during late night comedy shows than former Vice President Joe Biden.

97% of the political jokes made by both Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon in September were about President Donald Trump, according to the Associated Press.

455 jokes were about Trump and 14 were about Biden, according to the Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University, the AP reported. That number doesn’t include the 64 jokes about Trump’s family and his administration.

“When Trump’s onstage, everyone else is blacked out,” Robert Lichter, communication professor at George Mason, told the outlet.

These reported numbers aren’t very surprising. Everyone loves to make fun of Trump and while some of the jokes are funny, some just aren’t. It’s like they oversaturated the shows with content about Trump.

There’s also the idea that they will just keep making jokes about Trump even if he isn’t reelected.

“I think they will find a way to keep making jokes about Trump, even after he leaves office,” Lichter told the Associated Press.

They definitely will do this even if he gets another four years. We will still be hearing jokes about Trump in 2025. Will it ever end?
