Lab Leak No Longer Just a “Theory” For Majority Of Americans

The jig is up – and the American people know it. Actually, conservatives have known the truth all along, it just took the rest of the country to catch up.

According to a recent YouGov poll, 58% of American adults now believe the theory that COVID-19 originated from the Wuhan lab in China is “definitely or probably true.”

Pollsters asked respondents: “Regardless of whether or not the virus originated naturally or in animal species, do you believe it is true or false that a laboratory in China was the origin of the virus responsible for COVID-19?”

Even more responded in the affirmative – 9% more in fact.

Even Democrats are getting on board, with 43% of them believing the lab leak theory. Republicans and Independents dominated the poll numbers – 77% and 65% believing the virus originated in Wuhan.

These results come as Dr. Anthony Fauci scrambles to come up with answers as to why U.S. taxpayers were funding research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Additionally, a recent email dump of Fauci’s correspondence with colleagues and other scientists show that “America’s Doctor” was not always telling Americans the truth.

Joe Biden recently canceled a Trump-era investigation headed by former Attorney General Bill Barr’s Department of Justice to examine why China’s biological weapons department was present in Wuhan during the time news of the virus broke.

Since then the Biden administration, and Fauci himself, have changed their tune – introducing the possibility that the virus did in fact originate in a Chinese lab. Biden’s director of National Intelligence (DNI) said on May 27 that it is within the realm of possibility the Chinese flu originated from a Chinese lab.

Meanwhile, Fauci admitted the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded the Wuhan lab, but he still denies gain of function research support in relation to the origin of the virus.
