Just So Happens in ONE Month the Feds Spent More on Food Stamps Than What We Need to Fund Entire Wall

Isn’t it funny how Democrats are all of a sudden financially responsible now that Trump is president? They sat back and did nothing while Obama was blowing up the debt and spending money like a mad man. Now, they are concerned about $5 billion for a border wall to protect the American worker.

Democrats have been running around claiming that the wall costs too much money and isn’t worth it.

Meanwhile, they don’t seem to realize or care that we spend more on food stamps then we would on the wall.

From CNS News:

The federal government spent more money on the food stamp program in October, which was the first month of fiscal 2019, than President Donald Trump now wants the Congress to approve for the border wall for the entirety of fiscal 2019.

In October, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement, the federal government spent $5,892,000,000 on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which is also known as the food stamp program.

In November, according to the statement for that month, the federal government spent another $5,428,000,000 on the food stamp program, bringing the total so far for fiscal 2019 (after only two months) to $11,320,000,000—or an average of $5,660,000,000 per month.

We all understand the need for a safety net and that some people need help but there’s also an incredible amount of fraud in the welfare system and it’s remarkable that Dems are fine wasting money in that department and yet unwilling to spend some money on national security at the border.
