How chaotic and toxic can an administration get? Apparently, we are finding out.
Because Joe is asleep at the wheel, his underlings essentially call the shots. And few of them are truly fit for their jobs. The biggest proof of this (aside from them getting nothing done) is how their offices are run.
We learned all about how the office of the vice president is being run. Both Harris and her top managers mistreat staff, abuse them, and push them around. The office has been described as being in total chaos, with her chief of staff preventing Harris from even meeting with people.
But that was only the tip of the iceberg, it seems. Now we are discovering the Biden’s very wife, Jill, is being called out for her office. Her top advisor, a man named Anthony Bernal, has been called a tyrant.
“[T]he way he has wielded that power has made Bernal one of the most polarizing people in the White House, according to interviews with more than two dozen White House staffers, former campaign aides, and people who worked with him during the Obama administration,” Politico reported…
“Many described him as ‘berating’ and ‘toxic’ because of his unfiltered criticism of others and tendency to trash talk his colleagues behind their backs,” the report said. “Some compare him to [Meryl Streep’s] character in ‘Devil Wears Prada’ while another equated him to the ever-conspiring Littlefinger in ‘Game of Thrones.’” [Source: Daily Wire]
Bernal is known for making staffers cry, thanks to his constant abuse and insults. He seems to regularly call people “stupid” during meetings. According to one report, nobody who works with him even trusts him.
Hmm… a toxic, abusive loser who nobody trusts. Let’s put him in charge of the first lady’s office!
Bernal’s behavior appears to be an open secret in the White House, with his reputation extending back years. Some staffers have even recorded interactions with the man, providing indisputable proof. So, why is he in such an important position? Doesn’t Jill Biden know what’s going on? Shouldn’t she do something about it?
It’s pretty hard to believe that Ms. Biden doesn’t know what is going on in her own office. She is probably very aware of how Bernal treats her other staff. But according to reports, she keeps him around because he’s “very effective on her behalf.”
Jill Biden allows this man to abuse other staffers because he helps her get what she wants. Disgusting.
What kind of a first lady would allow a man to abuse both men and women, just because she benefits? This should give us some clue about the values of this administration. It is so incompetent, so pathetic, so useless, that they allow abuse and mistreatment. All because they don’t know how to get the job done in an ethical, professional, effective way.
I’m no expert in leadership, but even I know you can get the best out of your staff, when you treat them well. If you can’t, then it proves you are the problem. For the White House to keep on losers like Bernal and the people within Harris’s office shows they are not interested in being the best. They are just looking out of their cronies—not matter how many people they hurt.
And that’s truly unacceptable.
