Holy Hypocrite? Biden Embraces Anti-Catholic View on Major Holiday

Joe Biden has not been what most would consider a “good” Catholic. The Democrat has long exploited his religious background to win brownie points among Catholic voters—drawing comparisons with himself and JFK. Yet the now-leftist Democrat has done little to convince Catholics that he is on their side. In fact, most of his policies fly in the face of the values esteemed by the church and most other religious groups.

Yet Biden continues to maintain that he is a Catholic with good standing. After all, he met the Pope, right? Doesn’t that count for something? Not with the millions of Catholic Americans who are disgusted by his hypocrisy. And it’s only getting worse. On one of the biggest days in the Christian calendar, Biden doubled down on a very anti-Catholic stance.

On Ash Wednesday, President Joe Biden — a supposedly devout Catholic — defended his support for abortion despite Roman Catholic Church teaching prohibiting the faithful from supporting the murder of the unborn after a reporter asked him to explain his stance on the matter…

Biden, clearly annoyed by the question, was stopped short from going into what appeared to be a longer answer after the first lady Jill Biden pulled him away from the press.

Hmm… it seems like Jill Biden once again tried to save Biden from making another mess. Too late. After the reporter confronted him on the issue of abortion, Joe seemed to be defending it. He claimed he wasn’t going to “debate” theology, even though abortion is a practical issue. One that is clearly banned by the Catholic Church.

And when Jill Biden cut the interaction short, Biden said he was not going to “make a judgment” for other people, which essentially means he does not share the church’s stance on abortion. This, on a day that marks Lent, a major religious season on the Christian calendar. All over the world, Catholics and other Christians will be observing Lent, a sacred time of introspection and prayer.

Yet Biden appears to be thumbing their noses at them by supporting a practice hated by millions. Catholics’ opposition to abortion is a well-documented fact. Some of the strongest pro-life Americans are from the Catholic Church and they fight tirelessly to end the barbaric and outdated practice.

You have to wonder about the Catholics that happily voted for this man. Do they continue to keep the blinders up? Are they ignoring his terrible track record, both against Catholic doctrines and basic, human decency? Can they live with themselves, knowing they supported a man that stands for everything their beliefs are against?

I guess they’ll have to answer that themselves.
