News came out recently that a fundraising for Donald Trump’s re-election would be held in Beverly Hills.
This means that numerous conservative actors and celebrities would be attending—and opening their wallets for the president. Elitist actors, outraged that their colleagues would support a Republican, demanded their names be published online. Trump and Americans fired back.
It’s no secret why Eric McCormack—of “Will & Grace” fame—wanted a list of all actors and Hollywood residents who would attend Trump’s fundraiser. He made it clear in his tweet that he intends to reject working with such people.
On Friday, Messing’s “Will & Grace” co-star Eric McCormack ignited a firestorm on Twitter when he publicly stated that he would no longer work with Trump supporters, and asked to be told who would be in attendance at a fundraiser for the president in Beverly Hills.
“Hey, [THR], kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about who we don’t wanna work with. Thx,” tweeted McCormack. [Source: Daily Wire]
His arrogant, elitist, hateful statement spread throughout the Trump Derangement community. These left-wing actors want the names of anyone within their industry who dare support a man fixing our economy and restoring America’s strength and dignity. The reason? To make sure these conservative actors never work in Hollywood again.
It’s the kind of blacklisting that went on in the 1950s, when Hollywood was smart enough to get rid of the communists in their midst. Today, they want to get rid of patriotic Americans who love their country. Sad how that’s flipped so drastically.
Debra Messing, who suffers from one of the worst cases of TDS I’ve ever seen, backed her buddy’s demand for a list of names. She said, “The public has a right to know.”
I agree, but for different reasons. Messing, you see, thinks that if Americans found out that there were numerous conservatives in Hollywood supporting the president, they’d boycott their films.
I for one would love to know that some of my favorite actors and entertainers were smart enough to support a man like Donald Trump. If an actor was brave enough to support conservative values and plans, I would be far more likely to go see them in the theaters.
Especially since so many big-named stars openly spew hate and violence against our president. I have no interest in spending money to support people like that.
Trump fired back at Messing, when he criticized her assault on Trump-supporting actors.
“I have not forgotten that when it was announced that I was going to do The Apprentice, and when it then became a big hit, helping NBC’s failed lineup greatly, [Debra Messing] came up to me at an Upfront & profusely thanked me, even calling me ‘Sir.’ How times have changed!” Trump tweeted. It’s true that Hollywood once loved Trump, until he became president. Messing tried to fire back, accusing the president of tweeting about her while neglecting big issues like Hurricane Dorian. Once again, this liberal is selectively looking at Trump’s posts. The vast majority of his time has been devoted to monitoring the hurricane and updating Americans (along with posting about other issues). Messing is just being dishonest (as usual).
She then questioned why conservatives in Hollywood wouldn’t want their names out in the public eye.
Another American, actor Nick Searcy, destroys Messing’s attacks by exposing the real reason she and other left-wing celebs want to expose conservative actors.
Conservative actor Nick Searcy had the best response to this blatant display of elitism. “When you contributed, nobody demanded you be put on a list so they could avoid employing you, did they, [Debra Messing]? Because that would be black-listing, wouldn’t it? The hypocrisy is truly stunning. This is true fascism,” he tweeted. [Source: Daily Wire]
In light of the continued decline in theater attendance and the fragmenting of media thanks to streaming services, Hollywood won’t be the powerhouse it once was for long. These elitists’ thrones will be demolished and conservative actors won’t have to hide in the shadows. Hopefully, that day will come soon.
