Gov. Ron DeSantis Welcomes Newest African American Supporter

Gasp!

A bit of good-natured racial humor to go with your politics? Democrats would never!

Humorousness and having fun, in general, are not accepted on the left or within the Democrat Party. Laughter itself is used as a tool for manipulation within liberal circles, not a natural response to something that’s actually funny.

Kamala Harris is a perfect example of an establishment liberal politician whose endless giggle doesn’t seem to be a result of anything actually humorous — it’s a deflection tactic and a manipulative tool used to signify a non-existent relatability with common Americans.

Conversely, we on the right are always down for a laugh and welcome any use of humor, especially in political discourse.

Governor of Florida and Republican rising star Ron DeSantis did just that on Wednesday after a reporter asked him a question about Elon Musk.

Musk revealed a shift in his political leanings recently. The Tesla CEO vowed to vote Republican in the ’22 midterms, ’24 presidential election, and beyond as high-ranking Democrats attack “billionaires” in their quest to create a new woke world order.

The world’s richest man followed through with his declaration to go GOP, telling his legion of followers that he cast a vote for Mayra Flores, a Republican candidate in Texas.

A Twitter user later asked Musk which GOP candidate he favored for the 2024 presidential election — and his response shocked everyone!

Gov. DeSantis welcomed the endorsement of the Tesla and SpaceX CEO during a press conference on Wednesday.

“I’m focused on 2022, but with Elon Musk, what I would say is I welcome support from African Americans. What can I say?” DeSantis said to a laughing crowd.

DeSantis was obviously making a joke about Musk’s South African origins and the current political obsession with black Americans.

Needless to say, the left was irate over DeSantis’ joke. In fact, Arizona Republican senatorial candidate Blake Masters faced backlash when he made the same joke last year.

Musk’s father is South African. He was born in Pretoria and briefly attended Pretoria University before transferring to Queen’s University in Ontario, where his maternal grandparents and mother are from. Musk ultimately received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has since become a naturalized citizen.

Welcome to the GOP, Elon!
