Joe Biden’s “Climate Czar” John Kerry was caught maskless on an American Airlines flight, ignoring all CDC guidelines and Biden’s own coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
A series of photos were posted by the Tennessee Star showing Kerry, reading a book in First Class, mask hanging around his ear, as if the rules don’t apply to him.
The photos we’re confirmed as authentic. The lucky passenger who snapped the photos authenticated the photos and proved he was on the flight by showing pictures of his own boarding pass. The passenger wishes to remain anonymous.
The anonymous passenger revealed that while Kerry was wearing his mask to board the flight, he soon took it off after taking his seat.
@TheTNStar Exclusive: Biden’s @ClimateEnvoy John Kerry, took off his mask as he settled into a book in his first-class seat just before takeoff today on an @AmericanAir flight Boston to DC. He was not eating, nor drinking. He was simply flaunting Biden’s mandatory mask policy. pic.twitter.com/t1wDq9OtxD

Masks are required on board our aircraft, and we are looking into this.

The passenger informed reporters that he did not witness any flight attendant ask Kerry to use his mask, but did note that the former secretary of state did wear it for most of the flight.
American Airlines took to twitter to address the manner:
Seven hours later and American Airlines is still trying to figure out if John Kerry isn’t wearing a mask in that picture of him not wearing a mask. https://t.co/YycAeliCyx

Kerry also took to twitter, explaining his mask slip was “momentary.”
Feels like there’s some St. Patrick’s day “malarkey” afoot on Twitter. Let’s be clear: If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary. I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do.

Kerry has had a long history of controversial air travel since joining the Biden administration.
The “Climate Czar” has faced immense scrutiny for owning and frequently using a private jet. The former secretary of state also took a private jet to receive an environmental award in Iceland in 2019.
When asked about this contradiction, Kerry defended his use of a private jet, saying, “It’s the only way someone like me can get around and still reduce my carbon footprint.”
According to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records, John Kerry still owns his jet, which was estimated to have emitted 116 metric tons of carbon from February 2020 to January 2021.
