Far-Left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez heaped praise on Joe Biden’s ultra liberal agenda this weekend, expressing delight in his willingness to support more progressive policies since taking office.
During a virtual town hall meeting, the New York socialist revealed that Biden’s presidency has already “exceeded expectations that progressives had.”
“You know, I’ll be frank. I think a lot of us expected a much more conservative administration,” she said.
She lauded Biden’s willingness to work with the Far-Left wing of the Democratic Party on key issues, such as the forthcoming “infrastructure” plan, canceling of student debt, and a push toward climate change legislation.

As the face of the Progressive wing in the Democratic Party, AOC believes Biden is acting “not just in good faith but active incorporation of progressive legislation.”
She pointed to Biden’s pledge to “cut emissions in half by 2030” as an example of the president’s willingness to jump on board with the Far-Left progressive Democrats.
AOC revealed, “I’m not exaggerating when I say progressive Democrats never believed that Joe Biden would be making an announcement like that.”
However, while Ocasio-Cortez has applauded Biden’s first 100 days, she remains skeptical that the president will continue down his current trajectory of supporting Far-Left causes.
“… but I think that the infrastructure bill will be a key indicator on if the administration is keeping or raising its ambitions or if that [American Rescue Plan] was a one-and-done situation and that we’re going smaller.”
AOC has been a vocal proponent of raising the price tag of the “infrastructure” bill to more than $2.3 trillion.
