Joe Biden has thrown his once-political ally completely under the bus. In an interview set to air this week, Biden admits Cuomo could (and maybe should) face criminal prosecution for his laundry list of sex crimes.
Biden has all-but called for Cuomo’s resignation, but has largely refrained due to the ongoing investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James. The befallen Cuomo has faced bipartisan calls for his resignation since the first alleged victim stepped forward last month.
The host pressed Biden a bit, asking him if he believes Cuomo is fit to govern as the public continues to sour on his performance. The interviewer noted Sens. Schumer and Gillibrand’s demands for Cuomo’s resignation. Biden of course dodged the question, saying, “It’s their judgement to make about their state whether Cuomo can be effective.”
“A woman should be presumed to be telling the truth and should not be victimized by coming forward and telling her story,” Biden added. The sitting president made note of his writing of the Violence Against Women Act of 1994.

Cuomo has resisted calls for his resignation and has denied all the allegations against him. The disgraced governor has repeatedly suggested that he is being targeted by his political enemies and is a victim of “cancel culture.”
