If you wonder why Biden keeps talking about “MAGA” these days, wonder no more. As inflation breaks records, and Americans across the country suffer, Biden is desperate to cast the blame on someone else. Even though Trump hasn’t been in office since January 2021, Biden wants voters to think it’s all his fault.
Never mind the fact that Biden’s policies directly caused inflation, rising gas prices, an open border, empty grocery store shelves, and everything else. Nope, it’s those “MAGA folks” and the “great MAGA king” who are to blame. Biden even said they are “Ultra MAGA” whatever the hell that means. His former press secretary, Jen Psaki, claimed Biden came up with these words all by himself.
That was another lie.
Outgoing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki recently implied that the president’s new nickname for Republicans — some variation of MAGA, like “Ultra-MAGA” — was something that he created on his own accord. A new report from The Washington Post casts doubt on that claim as it revealed that the nickname was actually the result of a six-month research project conducted by a progressive group in Washington, D.C., as well as a public relations adviser who allegedly assisted convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein prior to his trial.
“Biden’s attempt to appropriate the ‘MAGA’ brand as a political attack was hardly accidental,” The Washington Post reported on Friday. “It arose from a six-month research project to find the best way to target Republicans, helmed by Biden adviser Anita Dunn and by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, a liberal group.” [Source: Daily Wire]
This is just pathetic. Biden, desperate to invent a narrative where all his mistakes are the GOP’s fault, hired a group of idiotic progressives and a PR adviser who just finished up working for convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein.
And the best this “crack team” could come up with is “Ultra MAGA”? Damn, Democrats really are screwed.
The left seems to think MAGA is a tainted word. In reality, conservatives haven’t given up the MAGA dream. To them, this term represents putting Americans ahead of special interest groups, lobbyists, radical leftists, and globalists. Everything that Biden stands against. Calling Trump supporters “Ultra MAGA” is a compliment to them.
And calling Trump the “great MAGA king” just gives 45 more ammunition—and attention, the thing he uses best.
For Biden not to see this is incredible. The last thing he and his “team” should be doing is putting more attention on Trump. More and more speculation comes out that Trump will run in 2024. Democrats should be ignoring Trump and changing their policies before it’s too late.
Instead, they are playing right into 45’s hands. On top of that, they refuse to acknowledge that it’s Biden’s policies that are the real problem.
Not that I’m broken up about that.
