Biden Asked About His Obamacare Support — Gives Bizarre Answer

Joe Biden is struggling to maintain his lead in a fairly weak 2020 primary field. Sad, if you ask me. But the former vice president doesn’t seem to be doing a great job winning over voters. Recently, he was confronted over his support for the disastrous Obamacare program. His answer? Let’s just say, it left us scratching our heads.

We’ve gone over this again and again, but it must be said. The 2020 Democratic primary field is a joke. There’s not a single winner among them. Sure, the 20+ group has been whittled down. Not because there is a stand-out frontrunner, but because a bunch of them ran out of money!

The best the left can offer America is Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Joe Biden. Yeah, not great. You’d think, at the very least, Joe Biden would be a shoo-in because of his close connection with Obama. But not even Barry is willing to endorse him. And Biden seems to be doing everything in his power to hurt his chances.

Recently, he was at a campaign event in Iowa. A young man asked him a pointed question about Biden’s support for Obamacare—a program that ended up being a disaster. Biden did not perform well.

“During the run-up to the passage of Obamacare, President Obama promised my father that if he likes his plan, he can keep his plan, and that his insurance will be cheaper. After passage, his plan was no longer allowed and his insurance costs doubled. Since you supported the plan, were you lying to my dad? Or did you not understand the bill you supported?”

Biden began his answer with a what appears to have been a joke, the offered an incoherent ramble:

“No, look, the fact is that what I’m talking about now is that when – because I get asked the question – since, what I do is I’d add a public option to the existence of Obamacare, meaning that a Medicare-like option is available if in fact you…

“Number two is that when you put yourself in a position of – I have faith in the American people – that if you’ve worked and given up significant portions of your salary over the last two, five, 10, 12 years to get a healthcare plan you like that you negotiated with an employer, then in fact, you should not be forced to give it up.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Uh, did that make any sense to you? Biden continued to ramble for another four minutes before ending with the sentiment, “no one did understand Obamacare.”

Really, Joe? That’s all you can offer us? You and your entire party forced Obamacare down America’s throat, only to now admit nobody understood the idiotic plan.

Obama essentially lied to us about “keeping” our healthcare. Biden and the rest are doing much worse today. They are pushing Medicare-For-All and other massively expensive, government healthcare plans. These plans would be much, much worse than Obamacare.

Biden can’t openly bash Obamacare, because he supported it. But he can’t openly endorse it either, because as a presidential candidate, he’s trying to offer something new. So instead, he provides these non-answers to people’s legitimate questions.

But we should be happy about how Biden answered this particular question. At least he tried to give a straight answer. Normally, when he’s confronted about something, he just gets angry! We’ve seen Joe lose his temper whenever someone calls him out on his past, poor performances. If you happen to confront Joe over anything remotely controversial, he loses his cool and attacks you.

So, that’s what we got in the left’s “frontrunner.” A man who either loses his temper when you ask him a question, or wastes a lot of time and still doesn’t answer it.

I can’t imagine a worse candidate for president.

But looking at all the other contenders from the Democrats, it doesn’t get much better. The rest are senators who’ve done nothing for decades or a mayor of a corrupt city.

Meanwhile, despite impeachment, Trump continues to score wins for the American people. Gee, I wonder who America’s going to pick?
