As Impeachment Looms Bad News Comes Out… for Democrats

After years of shady planning, Democrats are just a day away from voting to impeach Donald Trump. They concocted a bogus scheme to frame him for wrongdoing. And it seems they have pressured enough of their own party to vote in favor of it. Yet even with the media largely on their side, they got some bad news.

We’ve said all along that impeachment will doom… not Donald Trump, but the Democratic Party.

For one thing, we know this impeachment has nothing to do with Trump’s Ukraine call. All the evidence shows he did nothing wrong. Democrats have been talking about impeaching Trump since before he entered office. They tried to pin him with the Russia hoax. When that did work out, they created this even weaker scheme.

Clearly, the Democrats’ hatred for Trump and his success is driving impeachment. They can’t stand that he’s winning again and again for America. And they know none of their 2020 candidates have what it takes to beat him. This entire impeachment charade is their attempt at influencing the election, stopping him from winning.

But will it work? Will Democrats come out on top? Hardly. If they vote to impeach, there are more than a few Democrats from red districts who are in trouble. Come 2020, voters will kick them to the curb.

Moreover, a trial in the Senate will give Trump a chance to finally defend himself. Chances are, he will testify against the Democrats, revealing evidence of their own wrongdoing. And trust me, he won’t pull any punches.

Even before all that, we are seeing this impeachment turn on the Democrats. Polls from far-left media outlets show that Americans are turning against them, big time. That includes Democrat voters.

A new CNN impeachment poll released on Monday found that not only is support for impeachment and removal underwater nationwide, but that support has dropped among Democrat voters by double-digits.

“Support for impeaching Trump and removing him from office stands at 45% in the new poll, down from 50% in a poll conducted in mid-November just after the conclusion of the House Intelligence Committee’s public hearings,” CNN reported. “Opposition to impeachment and removal stands at 47% in the new poll, up from 43% in November.”

CNN added, “Support for impeachment and removal among Democrats has dipped from 90% in November to 77% now.” [Source: Daily Wire]

We know that liberal outlets have a bad history with polls. Regardless of the results, they are heavily weighted to favor liberals. So, what does that tell you about polls that say Americans don’t want impeachment—and even Democrats are opposing it?

Just look at that last figure. In November, 90% of Democrats polled said they wanted Trump impeached. That has dropped to 77% today.

That’s a massive plummet in support. If those numbers were for a candidate running for office, he’d be out of the race. But this is support for impeachment, something Democrats have been promising for three years.

Even the pollster had to say such a drop “seems off.” Yeah, you can spin that all you want, CNN, but your own poll has Democrats abandoning impeachment big time.

Why are Americans turning against this bogus scheme? It’s simple. We are watching Donald Trump continue to fight for us. Even as Democrats and the liberal media slam him day and night, he’s scored major trade wins and economic milestones.

What have the Democrats in Congress been doing at the same time? Oh… nothing!

Democrats have wasted the fall and early winter on a meaningless impeachment sham. They have spent God knows how much money on a fruitless investigation. They will impeach a president in a partisan vote on the flimsiest of evidence.

Do they really think they will get away with this? Do they think American voters won’t remember and make them pay in 2020?

The best thing they can do now is to just drop it. Cancel the vote and move on. But they won’t. They will vote to impeach and get destroyed in the Senate. Many Democrats will lose their jobs.

But it’s not like we didn’t warn them.
