She guessed 30 percent.
The actual answer is less than 1 percent. And that was just the beginning of what turned into one of the most lopsided ideological beatdowns the internet has seen this month.
The guest, a 25-year-old socialist activist from South Dakota who goes by "Doomsday," came on Hammer's show to make the case against capitalism. She earns approximately $60,000 a year working in corporate finance connected to stadiums. She lives in a converted ambulance. She carries significant consumer debt. And she wanted to explain why the entire economic system needs to be torn down.
Hammer, who built his channel on dissecting real people's real financial messes, wasn't interested in vibes. He wanted numbers. And every time he asked for one, the conversation went the same way — confident assertion, followed by a request for data, followed by silence.
