Amy Barrett Nomination Picks Up Momentum

When Trump announced he’d be filling RBG’s vacant seat, they left exploded in rage. They make all kinds of threats, but they were ultimately powerless to stop the process. Throughout the confirmation process of Amy Coney Barrett, they’ve tried to cook up all kinds of schemes and distractions. But it looks like they all failed. Now, Senate Republicans are cutting out the chatter to make sure Barrett is confirmed by the end of the day.

Democrats were really hoping for another Brett Kavanaugh situation. No, they would not be able to do the same thing as they did back then—it would harm their election chances too much. But we all saw how they desperately searched for a reason to discredit Trump’s latest pick: respected judge, wife, and mother Amy Coney Barrett.

The best they could do was to attack her religious faith. Bad move, leftists. While secular, godless Democrats might be offended this judge is a devout Catholic, most Americans find that inspiring and just more reason to confirm her. We are sick and tired of godless people calling the shots around here. Having a person of faith on the court (which have been all the people Trump’s selected) would be a good thing.

Democrats tried a few other petty tricks to delay the nomination, but it was clear we need nine justices going into November. Schumer tried one last trick to slow the proceedings, but the Senate just made sure ACB’s fate would be decided at the start of this week.

The Senate voted 51-48 Sunday afternoon to limit debate on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett, setting up a vote on her confirmation for Monday evening.

Sunday’s vote limited debate over President Trump’s court appointee to 30 hours, meaning the full Senate will be able to hold a confirmation vote Monday beginning at approximately 7:26 p.m. ET.

“Judge Amy Coney Barrett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit is a stellar nominee in every single respect,” Senate Majority Leader McConnell said on the Senate floor following the vote. “Her intellectual brilliance is unquestioned. Her command of the law is remarkable. Her integrity is above reproach.” [Source: Fox News]

Just before the vote was about to be scheduled, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer suddenly wanted to talk about a relief bill. After delaying negotiations for months, they now wanted to talk about this package. It was a transparent attempt to interrupt the judicial confirmation process. Democrats were literally trying to ransom relief for Americans, just to stop this justice from being confirmed.

Once again proving they care little about our people and our government, over getting their way.

Democrats were not able to stage the same kind of response to Barrett as they did to Kavanaugh. A part of the reason is because their reputation is still damaged from that spectacle two years ago. It was further damaged by their bogus impeachment, COVID response, and acceptance of widespread riots.

They tried to malign Barrett with a pathetic “handmaiden” attack. Barrett attends a Bible study where they refer to themselves as handmaidens, in reference to the Virgin Mary. The godless Democrats thought it was a reference to the HBO show the “Handmaidens Tale,” because God-forbid they read the Bible!

They had a few morons dress up in gowns to mock the judge, but it went over like a lead balloon. Republicans refused to play their petty games and continued to move ACB’s confirmation forward, even as Democrats stupidly boycotted the final committee hearing.

Now, we’re just hours from getting a strong 6-3 conservative majority on the highest court in the land. Can you hear the leftists wailing?

It’s only going to get louder on November 3.
