There have been a few notable black rappers who have come out in recent years to work with President Trump. While not all of them are hardcore Trump supporters, it’s undeniable that they are willing to associate with the man, despite endless attacks from the left that he’s “racist.”
It seems these black leaders know something the left doesn’t. Or, they are willing to admit what everyone knows, but Democrats refuse to cop to: that Trump is one of the biggest supporters of black Americans we’ve ever seen.
Recently, rapper and actor Ice Cube revealed he was working with the Trump administration on the Platinum Plan, a program that would directly impact millions of black Americans. Immediately liberals swarmed the rapper with attacks and criticism. But he made it very clear that he approached both Donald Trump and Joe Biden with his ideas and concerns.
Guess who wanted to talk with him?
The threats continued but, to his credit, Ice Cube is refusing to back down.
Despite the pressure, rapper Ice Cube will not recant his partnership with the Trump administration on the all-new Platinum Plan. After doubling-down several times, Ice Cube once again praised the administration’s pitch to the black community…
Ice Cube emphasized that black people have been unfairly lumped in with other groups through buzzwords like “minority” or “people of color.” Going forward, Ice Cube said he feels that black Americans should be at the front of the line in terms of getting help from any programs…
“At the end of the day, they’re mad ‘cause I’m just willing to work with anybody that’s willing to work with me to see some of these things that’s in the Contract with Black America come to pass,” he said. “I’ve been getting pushback ever since I came out with the Contract with Black America, you know, from everybody who really don’t want us to … have real demands, but people who just want us to basically shut up and vote, and I’m not gonna do that.” [Source: Daily Wire]
Ice Cube went on to say that he’s an American citizen and “can say what I want to say.” That’s a sentiment that is becoming less and less popular among leftists, but still cherished by real Americans. Because of his firm belief in his freedom of thought and speech, the rapper continues to defend his cooperation with Trump.
Let’s be honest. Democrats are so outraged because they just expect black people to mindless follow their party. But when was the last time a Democrat actually helped black citizens? Look at Democrat-run cities with large black populations? Not great places to live.
Even the first black president did nothing to help black folks in poverty, improve their children’s education, or pass criminal reform. Oh, all those things? Trump did in his first term.
Should we be surprised to see Ice Cube, Lil Wayne, Kayne West and others express appreciation for Donald Trump? Long before he was president, Trump was extending a hand to black people in need. It’s only right that he’d do that even more in the White House.
Yeah, the media hates it when these facts are shared. But we’ll do their job for them, once again.
