President Donald Trump torched Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him a “Dictator without Elections”, after Zelensky complained about being excluded from U.S.-Russia diplomatic talks this week.
In a scathing Truth Social post, Trump ripped into Zelensky, first dismissing him as nothing more than a “modestly successful comedian” who convinced America to burn through $350 billion on a war that should have never started. Trump pointed out that, without the United States and ‘TRUMP,’ Zelensky would never be able to negotiate peace.
Trump also exposed the financial scam behind Biden’s blank-check policy for Ukraine, stating that the U.S. has spent $200 billion more than Europe on the war, even though the conflict affects Europe far more than America. He blasted Biden for failing to negotiate fair financial contributions from Europe, pointing out that while European aid is structured as guaranteed loans, America gets nothing in return.
The former president then delivered his hardest-hitting criticism yet, pointing out that Zelensky has refused to hold elections, even as his approval rating in Ukraine craters. Trump mocked the Ukrainian leader for playing Biden “like a fiddle”, manipulating the current administration into endless funding while Ukraine’s future hangs in the balance.
“A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left,” Trump warned.
While Zelensky continues to beg for more aid, Trump’s administration is actually working toward peace. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Adviser Michael Waltz, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Saudi Arabia this week—without Ukraine at the table. Trump stated that his administration is now successfully negotiating an end to the war, something Biden never even attempted.
Trump’s America First stance on Ukraine has been consistent: stop endless wars, focus on peace, and put U.S. interests first. The former president made it clear—Zelensky has done a terrible job, and Ukraine’s destruction and millions of deaths were avoidable if the war had been handled differently from the start.
Zelensky’s biggest problem? Trump sees right through him.
