A top transgender appointee of President Joe Biden downplayed public criticism of his advocacy of pro-transgender policies over the Christian Easter holidays.
Assistant Secretary for Health Joe Biden’s deputy, Rachel Levine, expressed her opinion that the indignation was fake and contrived.
Levine told the LGBT website Advocate.com that the progressives’ “Transgender Day of Visibility” and Easter happened by happenstance.
Levine said, “It’s just that this Sunday was Easter, which is a very big festival and very important occasion, and it also just happened to be the 31st.”
In an apparent attempt to galvanize dejected empathy voters for the 2024 general election, Biden used Good Friday to announce the “Transgender Day of Visibility” on March 31, which happened to be Easter Sunday this year. Biden may have had government personnel promote the issue.
However, they also used a Christian motif to appeal to progressives. “Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, I have a simple message to all trans Americans: I see you,” tweeted Biden’s X account on March 31, a Sunday afternoon. You deserve respect and dignity since you bear God’s image.
Many Christians expressed their honest disapproval of Biden’s provocative remarks.
The presenter of La Mega 97.9, one of the biggest Spanish-language radio stations in the nation, in the New York region, said, “This is an abuse, a lack of respect.” Frederick MartÃnez, the host, who goes by “El Pachá,” said:
“Please do not bring that crap to me. There are 52 weeks in a year. How can this be possible on the most significant week in human history—the Sunday of the resurrection, when Christ faced and defeated death, died for us, and set us free from sin? Look, I am extremely careful and courteous, and I will let people use their ideas whatever they darn like, but not in this way.”
On April 2, Republican contender Donald Trump retaliated on social media, writing, “November 5th, Election Day, will be the most significant day in our country’s history.” Additionally, it is Christian Visibility Day, which will be the largest Christian turnout in our country’s history.
Levine, who went by Richard before, is the father of two kids. He uses his identity as a “transgender” to defend his adoption of a female name, apparel, pronouns, and status. According to this transgender argument, a person’s subjective, changeable internal perception of their male or female “gender” matters more to society than their genetically confirmed gender identity.
Levine painted anti-transgenderism sentiment in the public as hateful and unjustified. He used a passage from a Star Wars film that seemed almost holy to mention during the interview: “Fear is the route to the dark side.” Anger is the result of fear. Hatred originates from anger, and misery follows hatred.
Still, a number of polls indicate that popular acceptance of transgenderism is declining.
More individuals are aware of the negative effects of transgenderism, such as its animosity toward women and parents, risk to vulnerable children, criminal activity, personal violence, intellectual incoherence, and medical harm. This includes many progressives as well as homosexuals and lesbians. Gay guys, women, and men.
“I believe the wheel will turn in that direction. Levine, who is able to wear the Navy uniform due to his position at the Department of Health and Human Services being a component of the country’s quasi-military Public Health Service, asserted that “things for transgender and nonbinary persons would change.”
