Liberals Are Freaking Out Over South Carolina’s New Plan For Kids

Today, South Carolina became the latest state to join PragerU’s plan to give schools materials that teach about the United States’ rich past and foundational ideals. When leftists heard the news, they all broke down.

PragerU said in a news statement that the South Carolina State Department of Education (SCDE) has accepted a long list of PragerU tools. These include all of PragerU Kids’ material, several “5-Minute Videos,” and the Cash Course series on money management.

The South Carolina Department of Education is still dedicated to giving every child a great education, according to Ellen Weaver, the superintendent of schools in South Carolina.

Weaver also said, “We are happy to share that South Carolina schools will now have access to extra materials through this relationship.”

PragerU said that the program lets teachers in South Carolina use the lessons, which are “aligned with the state’s K–12th grade social studies and financial literacy standards.”

PragerU has a lot of different forms of teaching materials, like films, lesson plans, worksheets, and books. These materials cover many topics, such as history, economics, civics, and life skills.

PragerU CEO Marissa Streit said, “It’s surprising that South Carolina has turned into a fight in education. The state supreme court said last week that education vouchers are unconstitutional, which means that kids may have to leave the school they want if their parents can’t pay the price. Activists and the educational system are trying to stop people from using PragerU’s free, clean material this week,” Streit said. “Superintendent Ellen Weaver is a fighter for families in South Carolina, and she is doing everything she can to give them choices.”

Streit also said, “We should all back leaders who are ready to fight for freedom so that parents can give their kids a better education.”
